Day-Wise Guide for One Week Saudi Arabian Trip
Day 1-2: Riyadh
Depart from the capital, Riyadh. Visit Masmak Fort to learn about Saudi history. Then wander through the nearby souk (market) for some shopping and to try Saudi coffee.
In the evening, head to Riyadh Boulevard. There are many shops and restaurants in this giant entertainment area. Try the national dish, Kabsa, while you're there.
If you can, catch a sunset at the Edge of the World. It's a bit out of the city, but the views are amazing.
Day 3: Red Sand Dunes and Ad Diriyah
Wake up early to see the sunrise over the red sand dunes outside Riyadh. It's worth the early start!
In the evening, explore Ad Diriyah, the old capital. Stay for the light and sound show after dark.
Day 4-5: Mountain Adventures
Fly to Abha, a city in the mountains. It's cooler here and really popular with locals. Visit the lively souk and try some local food.
The next day, take a trip to Rijal Almaa. It's an old village with colorful houses and great views. You can even stay overnight in one of the houses if you want.
Day 6: Al Baha and Thee Ain
Drive to Al Baha, another mountain area. Visit Thee Ain, an ancient village that looks magical when it's lit up at night. Al Baha is famous for its honey, so make sure to try some.
Day 7: Jeddah
Finish your trip in Jeddah. Take a tour of the old part of the city, called Al Balad. It's full of history and interesting architecture. Before you board your flight home, if you have time, watch the sunset at the floating mosque.

- Hire a local guide. They can help with language and show you hidden gems.
- Try the local food. Saudi coffee, Kabsa, and fresh honey are must-tries.
- Be respectful of local customs. Cover up a bit and don't drink alcohol in public.
